( Clear choices, plainly written )
Privacy, provider boundaries, payments and refunds for Pooja World. Last updated 13 September 2026.
( Privacy )
Pooja World uses the minimum information needed to run your account, remember your choices and respond to a request.
Account details include the name, email or phone you choose to provide. Creating an account does not opt you into marketing.
A pooja request may contain a sankalp, recipient details, preferred date and notes. We use them only to record and follow up that request.
Optional analytics, personalisation and marketing storage remain off until you allow them in Privacy settings.
You may request access, correction or deletion through the contact page. Records that law requires us to retain are kept only for that obligation.
( Terms )
The catalogue helps families understand rites and compare published provider information. A directory listing or logo does not establish a partnership.
Prices, dates, inclusions, languages and availability may change. Confirm each detail on the provider’s official site before relying on it.
Pooja World does not take payment for a rite today. External providers control booking, payment, performance, evidence and fulfilment.
Educational guides describe common practice and cannot replace instructions from your family tradition, temple or chosen pandit.
Do not use the directory or request tools to impersonate another person, mislead a provider or submit unlawful content.
( Refunds )
Because Pooja World does not accept rite payments today, it cannot cancel or refund an external provider booking.
For a booking or purchase completed on a provider’s site, contact that provider and follow the policy shown during its checkout.
Submitting a Pooja World enquiry does not create a confirmed booking, debit a payment method or guarantee a date.
For a physical store order paid to Pooja World, the return and refund terms shown at checkout and on the order record apply.
If a charge appears under Pooja World and you cannot identify it, contact us with the order reference; never send card or UPI credentials.
